Yes. Clement Ziroli III ran as a Republican for Nevada State Assembly District 34 in 2024 and lost the primary on 11 June 2024. Brandon Davis received 2,361 votes (89.6 percent). Ziroli received 274 votes (10.4 percent). He was not a candidate in the November general election. Ballotpedia publishes the certified totals.
In an essay and a press release on 16 April 2024, while he was a candidate, he proposed that a county tax assessor defer property-tax payments for the first five years of ownership for first-time buyers, so that portion of the payment could be left out of a lender’s qualifying ratio.
